The very definition of duality, that is the individual known as Kim Taehyun. Sometimes the charming, soft-spoken, artistic boy next door, other times the wild card that likes to chase danger and test his own and your limits and morals.Generally, Taehyun is friendly and has a somewhat romantic outlook on life. from when he was a kid until now, he's seen so much - too much, arguably, but despite having witnessed the darkest aspects of existence, he still wants to spread love and kindness.Parts of Taehyun are very damaged. He doesn't like to show his weaknesses, so you will not easily see him opening up about his struggles. Once he does, it means he holds you in high regard and trusts you enough to be a less controlled version of himself around you.Taehyun gravitates towards the arts, music being his safest haven. It allows him to fully let go and give the rawer, rougher parts of himself space to breathe. โค โข โ The year 1801. Lorenzo Atem Cassano took his first breath on this earth. From the very start of his life, the was a mark on him. A mark that would follow his steps until the ends of the earth, and beyond.Lorenzo was a happy child. Caring, selfless, brave, adventurous, curious, intelligent. However, the environment in which he grew up, made him unable to develop these traits. He had to become hard, sharp, cautious, cold, reserved, quiet. Put in a house with his family - his parents, brother, but also his numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, he felt incredibly suffocated. Whenever he could, he would sneak out of the mansion grounds, and escape into nature.As all of the kids in the family grew older, they were taught about the family practices. He did not know what it was back then, but 'cult' was an understatement. More and more, Lorenzo started to realize that what his family was doing, was very wrong in every sense of the word. Religion? There was nothing holy about any of it. Is the devil real? He wasn't sure. But eventually he got his answer, and not just once. He was visited by dark forces, over and over again, yet he still did not want to believe in monsters, demons, evil. If there is good, there should be an opposite, right? Or is everything evil? Surely his family was. Lorenzo experienced things that no child should have to, from being the target of his father's violent tendencies and his mother's manipulation, to having to protect his brother from the same things and offering himself up as sacrifice for his extended family's crazy rituals.By the time Lorenzo was thirteen, the way he looked at the world had lost some of its previous saturation. He had started harboring a deep-seethed anger, a rage.. burning like a fire at his very core. Hidden, but it was there, in his eyes if you looked into them for too long. Unfortunately, it hadn't gone unnoticed. Any resistance or rebelling within the family was dangerous, or so they believed. They tried to douse the fire, control Lorenzo's body and mind in any way they could. The constant abuse made him lose himself. It took him a long time to crawl back to the surface, out of the dark pit that was the safe confines of his own mind. He did, but he was never the same.Unbeknownst to him, his mind had begun to adapt to the situations he was being put into. He had begun to fracture, his consciousness cracked like it was made of glass. Unexpectedly, it made him stronger. He found that one piece of the puzzle that was his mind, could battle the darkness better than another piece. Slowly but surely, he began to feel more secure again, and when he was twenty-three, he managed to get away from the iron grasp of his family, with the help of the most beautiful woman he'd ever laid his eyes on. What he didn't know, was that she would be his undoing.โค โข โ Seven days, and seven nights. That is how long the agony went on for. He wasn't sure where he was, what he was... if he was even breathing anymore. He wanted to die. Maybe he did die, he wasn't sure. His throat burned, his eyes stung, his fingers were cold and his legs wouldn't listen to him. Eventually, it all faded into nothingness. There was only black, all around him, like it had been so many times during his childhood. This was familiar, and maybe he liked it here. Yeah, maybe he'd stay there.After being reborn immortal, Lorenzo.. was no longer Lorenzo. He'd left the gentle boy behind, and adopted the alias SHADOW. after he moved to Korea in 1897. Lorenzo only came back when he met the love of his life, whom he spent fifteen beautiful years with. She mended his wounds, until only scars remained from his human years. She showed him what love is really like, how life could and should be. Yet, even in death, he could not escape his mark. His love was taken from him by the same evil forces that had been following him all his life. This loss broke him, beyond repair. The shattering happened once again, and for decades, he let himself float in an open sea, without much of a care what happened to him. He subjected himself to all kinds of dangerous things, guilt tugging at his heart, every chance it got. Sex, drinking, killing, balancing on the edge of life and death.. everything and anything to distract him from his broken heart.When he came out of it, it was like getting splashed in the face with cold water in the early morning. He was stunned to find Lorenzo right in front of him again, this time holding the hand of an unfamiliar person. They were different. They made him feel different, and for the first time in a long time, among everything else, there was a sense of peace. Giving up had looked so tempting before, but he didn't want to do that anymore. Adopting the name his aunt had given him - Taehyun, felt right, and looking into the future wasn't that scary anymore, somehow.

Unbeknownst to many, Taehyun is a vampire. A creature of the night, undead and immortal. Born in 1801, turned 29 human years later. His story is a long one, but compared to others like him, he's only just started.In the supernatural world, there are rules that one can't work around, but no singular creature is the same. These are facts about Taehyun, about what he is, what he can do and what he cannot do.
IMMORTALITY Perhaps this one speaks for itself: Taehyun, upon changing at 29, became immortal and will not die of natural causes. His body is permanently frozen in time, and he will not age. He has also become immune to all conventional illness, disease, virus and infection.STRENGTH Lifting a grown person off the ground with one hand, ripping out internal organs, breaking solid brick walls, jumping from building to building with big gaps between them.. those are things Taehyun has no difficulty with whatsoever. There is a limit to his strength, but he is definitely stronger than your average human.SPEED Taehyun can accelerate his movements to cover short distances in an instant, faster than the human eye can see, making it seem like he teleported instead. When running across long distances, he appears as vibrating blurs of motion, flashes. His reflexes are similarly affected.HEALING FACTOR Taehyun heals extremely quickly, but still feels the pain of a wound before it heals. He can snap bones back into place after them being broken and has fully recovered from deep cuts, gunshots, stab wounds, and such things. A vampire's blood can also heal humans, and in specific circles, it is sought after as a drug that can enhance strength, heal wounds, and increase the intensity of the senses, among other possible effects.FIRE This is a fairly recent power that Taehyun developed. (2024) He can conjure fire in his hands and set alight an object or being of his choice. Doing so still scares him, because of a past injury involving fire.
GLAMOUR Taehyun has the ability to influence/control minds, plague peopleโs dreams, and alter/erase human memories. He hypnotizes humans by staring into their eyes, using an invisible force to make them obey to whatever is said. Itโs a handy trick for if someone finds out what he is and he needs them to forget. This power does not work on other vampires.ILLUSIONS Taehyun can control dreams and the subconscious, giving him the ability to produce and modify dreams, bestow nightmares and lucid dreaming. He is also able to distort reality and trap a human in their dreams.SUNLIGHT With age, the sun loses its power over vampires, but Taehyun would technically still burn at his age. For most of his immortal life, he needed to shield himself from the sun, but ever since the early 2000s, he can be exposed to it without burning to a crisp. He's made a deal with a high ranking demon to acquire this feat.WEAPON SKILLS Taehyun has been trained to use several weapons in combat. His affinity is for ranged weapons. Think bow and arrow, and the dual guns that he owns. He can use a sword, but prefers the more light-weighted ones over big hefty ones.

Taehyun is still rather new at this ability, and can not move things heavier than a hefty table, for example.

DECAPITATION Perhaps one of the few 'mortal' causes that will result in Taehyun permanently dying. He can't re-attach his head, unfortunately. (nor any other limbs, for that matter)MORTAL DEATH While Taehyun cannot permanently die from most types of 'human' deaths, he will be temporarily unconscious as a result. Think breaking his neck, shooting him with bullets (no wood), drowning, etc.WOOD Wounding Taehyun with a wooden weapon of any kind will cause him to become severely weak. Injuries caused by wood take a longer time to heal. He will also permanently die from being staked in the heart.
INVITATION Taehyun cannot enter a (human-owned) home without an invitation by the owner. If he somehow does get in, he will presumably suffocate.BLOOD CONSUMPTION Taehyun needs blood to survive. Abstaining from it will make him grow weaker and weaker, pushing him closer to his predatory instincts until he fully gives into them. This can make him experience a loss of self and control in a sort of 'emergency' mode that causes him to go very far to get what he needs, without a care for the consequences.OTHER SUPERNATURALS Depending on the being he encounters, there are several things that other supernaturals can inflict on Taehyun, that he is weak to. For example: the bite of a werewolf, the hallucinatory blood of fae, hellfire from demons, etc.

NฮRร has been known as a versatile king in the music world. He is highly experimental, and while he is known to usually stick to making music to dance your heart out to, he also loves a harder sound, dark electronic vibes, or the occasional ballad where he can showcase his vocal ability.The name NฮRร comes from the word 'black' in Italian, the color of darkness, the very thing that Taehyun has walked hand-in-hand with for most of his life.

In the years that followed, he searched for his own sound, and from 2014 - 2017, he started to do collaborations with other artists and released his first Japanese songs that quickly became some of the favorite classic songs in his fandom. From 2017 on, he's been very consistent in giving fans mini albums and full albums alike, with plenty of variety schedules in between, festival appearances and concerts.
Taehyun's beginnings in the music industry were - surprisingly enough, as a singer/songwriter. In 2009, he signed with a label called Raven Records, which he left several years later due to personal struggles. Things were quiet for a while, until he returned to the scene - not only with a different kind of artistry, but as an actual idol. In 2014, he made his official debut with the HEXA album, and immediately gained popularity for his versatility.
In the spring of 2021, he left his previous label Monarch Entertainment, having gotten the opportunity to found a subsidiary under another label. As of right now, Triangulum Records is a one-man label, but Taehyun plans to sign new artists in the future.His full discography can be found here.
